I was able to pick this up in a trade recently from Wayne Bell. He runs a small, one man custom shop here in central east Teaxs. He stays busy and does a lot of custom work for local law enforcement, Texas DPS, and Texas Rangers.

This gun is a full size 1911 chambered in 9mm and he got everything right. This particular model has more time and TLC in it than any of them that he has done before and it shows. Everything is fit together perfectly, the slide feels like it is gliding on oil, the trigger breaks like a glass rod at 2.5 lbs.

It has most everything I want on a Target/Competition 1911. No FCS, Speed Bump Grip Safety, Solid Trigger, Stainless Steel construction, and nice target sights. The only thing I would change is the front strap serration to a chainlink pattern.

This thing is fun to shoot and is laser beam accurate. Enjoy the pics:

Beautiful gun. 2.5 lb. trigger? Don't sneeze, and don't carry that thing as your CCW!

Looks like a good shooter but he should rethink his rollmarks IMHO.

Its not a ccw, it is for target only.

He does not put that rollmark on all of them. It was a special one. He normally puts a bell custom or leaves it naked.

If you want his contact info please send me a PM

Nice looking gun. Don't worry about the 2.5 lb trigger, 1911s have a proper manual safety.

I've never fired one chambered in 9mm, how is it to shoot compared to a normal 45 acp 1911?

What is the MSRP on one of those?

Nice looking gun. Being a Texican, I naturally like the roll marks and grips.

It shoots very soft, its almost like cheating. Very minimal recoil in a full size 1911. You owe it to yourself to get at least one 1911 in 9mm. Makes a good training tool due to the cheap ammo.
