    Somehow I doubt their findings...

Not cost effective = it costs more to make than the value of gold produced.

Mostly because they have to do all that stuff AND buy the gold that they claim to have produced.

The gold is completely bound in the gold chloride, hence the name GOLD chloride. This process just separates the gold.

Considering it takes a supernova to make gold the natural way, lets just say I have my doubts.

To the article's claim "Gold chloride has little value. "

What a joke. 100 ml of 1% gold chloride sells for $100.

It doesn't make gold. The gold was always there. It's just extracting it from the Gold Chloride molecule.

Neither is ethanol. Call the goverment. We just solved the debt crisis by making our own gold. We just have to pay to make it.

I think most people don't know it's possible to make gold from other elements; all you need is a nuclear reactor or particle accelerator and some rare mercury isotopes. It makes for a fun experiment you can do at home with the kids!

Agreed. You don't need alchemy to make gold. Crimex and LBMA make (paper) gold all the time. How else do you think they became leveraged at 100/1 - paper to metal?

I pity the poor souls that think they will get their 'allocated' gold when they want to take delivery. Ask the MFGlobal investors how that works.

In side news, all the gold discovered on this planet (ever) so far could fit on a NFL football field.

In fact, it could fit on a NBA court.

It could fit in a cube 70ft x 70ft x 70ft. That's it. Yeah, it's as dense as hell - denser than lead, not as dense as platinum...so I am not going to be able to haul that away on my trailer. :)

One of the reasons the world moved away from the gold standard...as much as we love gold, we were creating wealth at a far greater pace than we could ever have gold to represent it. Going away from the gold standard allows .govz to **** around with inflation more :)
