Just finished up another AR build, and wanted to share it here. I am VERY happy with the outcome on this one. It feels and shoots like a dream come true!

Specs are as follows:

- PSA Stripped Lower Receiver
- PSA LPK
- Battle Arms Development Ambi Safety Selector (BADASS)
- Geissele SD3G Trigger
- Magpul Enhanced Aluminum Trigger Guard
- ACE Entry Length Buttstock
- H2 Heavy Buffer
- Wolf Extra Power Buffer Spring
- BCM Gunfighter Grip Mod 0 (Stippled)
- BCM Upper Receiver
- BCM Gunfighter Ambi Charging Handle Mod 4
- Rubber City Armory (RCA) BCG
- Troy Industries Battlesight Rear Flip Up
- Troy Industries Battlesight Front HK Style Flip Up
- Mossberg OEM 16" M4 Profile 1x7 Melonite Barrel
- Spikes Tactical Dynacomp Extreme
- Troy Industries 13" Alpha Rail
- Insight WML Haley Strategic Partners Edition in HSP Thorntail Mount
- Aimpoint T1 4MOA In Larue Mount

I think that about covers it. I had it out and blasted through a couple hundred rounds, and am very pleased with the performance. Accuracy is quite good - better than my other Spikes M4LE carbine. It ran reliably with 30 rd PMAGs and 20rd Lancer mags.

Couple points:

- Geissele SD3G trigger is the freaking bomb. End of discussion.
- Aimpoint T1 is the best red dot sight on the market period.
- A free float tube forearm is more useful, lighter, and feels better than a quad rail.
- Insight WML is a very quality piece.
- Mossberg Melonite 1x7 barrel is for real. For the $140 I paid, I'm more than satisfied.
- Spike's Tactical Dynacomp Extreme works extremely well. Better than... BCM Gunfighter Comp Mod1 in my opinion/experience.

Now, on to the pictures!

I dig it! what distance and position were you shooting at? Just wondering because I built an AR recently and am trying to figure that process out. Bench rested at 100 yards seems like a standard measure that people try to replicate.

Most firing done offhand at 30 yards, couple mags done at 100 yards off a rest (hillbilly backwoods range setup).

Thanks. I usually shoot rifles off a sand bag, offhand I'm all over the map lol. But at my range I can only shoot offhand at 100 yards (weird huh). Public side has a 50 yard target frame no position shooting allowed. Members only range has a 100/200/300 yard range, off hand ok with certification (which I have).

It sure beats the tacticool indoor range down the block though.

BTW: I see a Geissle trigger in my future... I'll probably go with a SSA or SSA-E but that S3G is nice too! (I've had a chance to try them out and darn they are nice). I'm also pretty happy with my ALG QMS on another build, but my Colt is getting something special soon :)
