I am just getting into shooting air rifles. I ordered a Benjamin Marauder .22cal Synthetic Stock PCP rifle from Pyramid Air. I got it today and I have to say that I am very impressed with it so far. I have not done any tuning to it (lots if things you can tinker with). Straight out of the box, mounted a scope and sighted it in. I was able to shoot a 10 shoot group that a nickel would cover. I am by no means a precision rifle shooter, so I was very impressed with this group. Watch out birds, squirrels, and rabbits!!! Here is a pic of the last group I shot with it today.

I love mine. Accurate and deadly on predators Coyote size on down. Great squirrel or rabbit
for the pot gun. Mine is .25 cal also. So far, it prefers the Benjamin Domed 27.4 gr pellets best.
I love to kill Snapping Turtles in my pond with it. Not near the danger of a ricochets with the
pellet gun but I now have it zeroed for 50 yard and have killed snappers with head shots out
to nearly 100 yards sitting and shooting off my dock using a tripod.

What other support equip did you collect in the process, i.e. extra bottle, pump, adapter ? ? ?
No better way to control the pest animals in an urban enviro than AIR power.

So does the rifle have a removable tank? how many shots do you get out of a charge?

No, I purchased a small carbon fiber compressed air tank. With it full, I can refill the rifle 8-10. The rifle will shoot 30-40 shots before any real noticeable drop in performance before needing air.

so what does the pump (psi) put out to charge the tank.
    30-40 shots? at 25 cal.
I'm still one pump (spring) one shot in .177 RWS with a 3X9 air rifle scope.
Still a great shooter. Just the right combo to dispatch urban animals that don't
understand,......... in this yard,.......... the wife says, we don't do that :50cal:
Just getting tired of spring, might be time to move on.

The tank will pressurize to 4000psi. The rifle is factory set to fill to 2800psi. You will shoot until it goes down to 1800-2000psi then fill the rifle. It takes about 70-80 pumps with the hand pump or use the air tank for about 10 fills before it needs to be refilled. It takes a special compressor to fill the air tank to 4000psi. Most places that do paintball are set up to refill them for $4-5 each time.

I came sooooooo close to buying a .22 Benjamin Discovery a few months back, but the only reason I didn't was because I should be getting my .22LR suppressor before long. But one day I might pull the trigger on one, seems like a great air rifle.
