So, today I finally got my 4th Glock. A G32!
I've been eyeing these for a long time.

I bought it, cleaned it real quick standing over the trunk of my car before going into the range to shoot it.

Loaded the mag full, and slapped it in. Then did a quick rack, and it FTF on the rack!! Well, I tapped, and the slide then closed all the way into battery and fired. The next round FTF as well!! So, I tapped, but didn't have to rack as that tap made the slide close again. Fire, did it again!!!

Ok, sounds bad right, it's not. That one magazine had a pretty obvious flaw when compared to the other that it came with and the 3rd that I bought at the gun show. This piece of plastic inside the lip sticks out and catches the round preventing the slide from being able to easily remove it and put into battery.

All other rounds (350 shot) went great with the other 2 magazines. No issues. I love it!!!! I was a little fatigued after shooting that much, but wow... love it!!

Here are pics. One pic shows the piece of plastic I was having issues with.
If I call Glock, think they'll replace the magazine for free??

    Here's the new G32!

And lastly the magazine piece that is the culprit of my FTF's. Brand new magazine in the box. Going to call Glock monday.

No kidding... the funny thing is, my first Glock was purchased last October, and now I'm up to these 4. haha

I need to STOP now! (Or at least pause for a little while)

Robin, the ammo is expensive. I wish it was a little cheaper, but oh well. It's worth it for such a sweet round. (well, I tell myself that anyway)

Just take an exacto knife and cut that overmolding off. Nothing is wrong with it.

Either a mag or ammo problem. Try different ammo.

Congrats on the 5th...uh I mean 4th. LOL!

I'm 100% sure it's the mag. When it compares to others it is evident, an it even has issues loading a snap cap.

I'd rather have a new one if Glock will do it. No big deal either way though. Love this new gun.

Congrats Scott! About your magazine, looks like it happened to someone else with their G23 mag: http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1157287

He sanded it down and it started functioning reliably. I have a new mag for my G23 I haven't tested yet and it doesn't look like it has that extra plastic, but we'll see how it works when I finally get to the range.

I would see if Glock will just send you a new mag without sending the faulty one to them. If so, sand the faulty one down a bit and then you have 4 mags. :)
