As some of you know, I've been waiting for a Greyhound. We finally have him! He arrived last night. At first he was a little nervous. He used to have another Greyhound playmate, now he doesn't. That doesn't seem to be a problem. He did 'mark' his territory four or five times. He's getting better. We were told to leave the crate door open. He'll put himself in there throughout the day. He seems to like his crate. He should, it's huge! My wife and I are talking about getting another Greyhound. As she said, "It's not much harder to care for two Greyhounds than it is to care for one". He he is. His fur reminds me of Cocobolo wood. (dark orange with black stripes) His fur even has a woodlike pattern. I'm in the process of making my own custom Cocobolo wood grips for my wifes Walther PPK/S SS .32 ACP. It should look nice when it's finished.
