I already posted this a few days ago in the General Firearms Forum...

    http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1326895

But I figured this would be the best place to place the pictures. Sorry it took me a few days to get around to it. I put about 100 through it today, which isn't alot but it's all I really had. Everything from 2 3/4" bird shot to 3" 00 buck, went though without a hitch. Anywho, enough rambling, here's the pictures...

    Hey man,

Great looking pictures! I have the same shotgun. I put a surefire LED tac light on it and a blackhawk 15 round sling.

Q: How did those Mil-spec O.D. green 00 bucks group and recoil compared to your other shells.

Wondering if I should buy some...

Q: Our shotgun holds 6+1, right? Or is it 7+1? I have never loaded it to full capacity, lol. Used it one time in a shotgun match with birdshot, same day as my avatar pic.

    Thanks!

The Mil-spec buck shot wasn't bad at all. I couldn't really tell you about the group. I was slamming away at targets as fast as my arm would pump to see if there would be any problems. I"ll let you know about grouping next time that I'm out. I believe I have a few more boxes of them.

    A: 6 + 1 in the tube.

Ah yes, Glock 23's and 870's...Great minds think alike. I just got my 870 a week ago. I just had to add another Remington to my collection. My dad is a Remington man, even shaves with one, and I understand why.

Sweet. I have two 870's. On in 12 and the other in 20. Excellent shotguns and keep the slug barrels on mine. Taken some deer with the 12 gauge. Put Hi-Viz sights on it.

I have the same 870. Shot it for the first time last weekend. Try some Federal Premium 00 Buck with the FlightControl wad and you will be amazed at the pattering out to 25-30 yards. Very impressive.

I'll pick some up. Right now I have it loaded up with those Mil-spec 00 buck shells. IF there good enough for our boys, they'll work for me.

There calling for snow here on sunday, but hopefully I'll get out again this weekend to fire more through mine.

Thanks for the pic and info.

My sister just bought an 870 in 20 gauge and I'm thinking of picking one up myself to go along with the 12.5" Mossberg Maverick 88/Knoxx Recoil Reducing Stock setup I have.

She has a recoil pad on her 870 and she says it feels fine. Bought it when she picked up the Remington 870 so I can't tell you exactly what the pad is or who makes it.

Make sure you pattern them first. I tried some in my 930SPX and they were horrible, averaged 5 pellet hits at 25 yards on a TQ15. In my 870P they were slightly better, averaging 7 hits at 25 yards aiming COM on a TQ15. IMHO for 00 buck I will carry they have to keep all 9 pellets on target out to 25 yards. The Federal Flight Controls are very good. Unfortunately I had found the OD shells (I believe they are Winchester) for $2.99 a box and bought a crap load of them, oh well they are fun for plinking, no misfires, fed and extract good.
