Just bought new a Glock 34 gen4. It is a blue label box I bought with my GSSF coupon.

It has fixed sights. I thought all 34's came with adjustable sights. What gives?

It's not a big deal since I'm going to replace them with Dawson sights anyway. But I feel like a got shorted.:crying:

LEO 34s come with the heavy connector and solid plastic sights. Even Glocks not stupid emought to think we might carry the perpetually adjustable version.

Its actually a really good holster gun.

    That make sense.

Since it is a LEO version I now also have to buy the expensive minus connector that should have (but didn't) come it it also.

Yep, *most* blue label G34's will come with standard connector instead of '-', and fixed sights. It is possible to get one in normal configuration, but not usually.

Mine was the same as yours.

My red label G34 Gen4 came with the adjustable sights and 4.5/- connector. The G35 Gen4 blue label came with fixed sights and 5.5/standard connector.

Look at the sticker by the handle--it'll tell you what sights and trigger are installed.

    Here are my tactical/practical models:

You could have purchased a red label G34 with a - connector already installed for about $80 more than you paid for the blue label and not have to pay $20 for a new - connector. :wow:

Don't know where you're getting your prices, but not around here. I got my G34 through the GSSF program for $505. You won't see any red labels for anywhere close to that in the greater Charlotte area. Certainly not $80 more. Hell, they're getting $560 for a G17 around here.

The label tells it all.. sights, connector, number of mags, color of the frame, etc. But unless you want to order a specific flavor and wait up to 150 days, you take what the LGS has - or find one online perhaps.

well if you got the discount from gssf just take it to a match and ask the armorer if he can put it back to stock for you :whistling:

But 'stock' for a LEO version is 5.5# so the armorers won't put a 4.5# in a gun that originally came with a 5.5#. As a matter of fact, the couple of times I've asked armorers at a GSSF match, they said they didn't have any 4.5s with them. Probably a good policy to NOT bring any - then people couldn't whine or beg to get one one installed. Connectors don't go 'bad' anyway - unless perhaps you don't lube them for thousands of rounds.

The G34 should cost $82 more than a G17 as it does with a Blue label.

Yep... in a perfect world, GSSF should be LEO price + $27 across the board.
