Already had the 31 and 32 so thought I'd complete the set. Ordered it through the Blue Label program and only took 9 days for it to show up. I'll probably leave this one all stock, but I did add the mag extensions. Now all I need is some time to shoot it! [IMG]

I carry the Glock factory .40 G27 + Mags in my G33. These give me one extra round as I don't try to push 2 in it so rounds aren't packed in to tightly in the magazine and it provides better grip.

The G33 is a small gun with big gun power I carry it with full confidence no matter where I go, I can't say that about any other small gun.

I had a 27/33 for many years and sold it. I bought a 26 and although it’s good enough it sure doesn’t inspire the confidence I had when carrying the 27/33. That is the one gun I regret selling and will replace it one day. I keep hearing about dirt cheap .40 27s but haven’t seen them.

1canvas check out recoil gun works. Or in ohio, aim surplus. Set up a email account from aims they have police trade in models all the time. Decent prices. Just keep an eye out for one. You should be able to find a very nice 27 for 300.-400. If not cheaper.

Yes I have the confidence to use my G33 for HD often even though I also have a G32 and 31. With this caliber I don't worry about gun size all of them will get the job done.

As far as looking for a G27 goes I have had better luck with the smaller mom and pop LGS. Especially the ones that cater to the local law enforcement folks.

A G33 got me out of the J frame business and I have never looked back. I also love me some Underwood ammo!

When I carry a 32 in the summer and carry the 125 HST, it is a very controllable round. It’s not as hot as the Underwood’s but I get about 1380 out of my gun. If the 32 is doing woods duty I do go with Underwood’s 147XTP although I never clocked it.

I'd say you're right where you want to be. HST is as good as it gets and at 1350fps (or higher) it will do everything Underwood will do with less wear and tear on your pistol.

The HST is one of my carry rounds for sure but you just can't beat the wide selection of the different types of ammo UA offers for the 357 Sig. Especially since the big ammo companies offer very little variety.
