E Pluribus Katana
I like it.
So $1200/oz is only worth 100 USD or is it vice versa? (j/k)
A nice design. Looks like a good looking black female dressed as Liberty to me. (better looking than Harriet T or Susan B in my book.) Naturally she looks to "the left". I wonder why?
Gotta ask... why assign a value equal to a worthless piece of Fed Reserve paper? Just another lie. Taqqiya? muahaha.
Krugerrand's simply use weights.
1 oz, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/10 oz.
Value is based on spot.
But who wants an image of Paul Kruger or an impala? (I wouldn't turn one down or even a handful of K'rand dimes truth be told)
Designed by a Utah artist...
shhhhh you cant say that
She's looking to her right...lol

I own the Ultra High Relief coin from a few years back which is one of my prized possessions...
Might this be similar?
That sounds racists to me, I mean that would imply that there is a difference between the races. That wouldn't be PC to acknowledge a racial or sexual difference in people since we are all suppose to be unisexual and pretend racial differences don't exist! This is obviously a Russian plot to help Trump win the election but I have no proof of that.
The ******** were in charge when the coin was designed and you are looking for something logical, good luck!
but my left... or ... oops!
Well, yes, she is non-white, she is gold, right? I do like the idea of a $100 coin though.
In 1792 I wonder how many women of African descent located within the borders of the THEN USA enjoyed this thing we call "Liberty"?
Ah the irony. National Motto just...
But I bet you would gladly carry a roll of 50 of them in your pocket...
No, I would rather carry 50) $100 bills.
I'll keep stacking silver
Not sure, as I'm not an active collector, but if the picture depicts the normal strike, this coin is astoundingly beautiful. We'll have to wait for the finished product to know for sure, but I'm saving my pennies starting now so I can get one.
She looks like gold to me.
Every other artistic embellishment is superfluous.
If the government wanted to give me a bag full of them, I certainly wouldn't turn them down.
I wrote about this on another forum. In short, I said:
"I keep waiting for America to stop using black people as pawns and punch lines for social and political purposes." Because, to me, that's all this is.
And I'm still waiting. It seems I'm gonna be here a while.
I can't imagine most black people are thrilled about this. We need to stop using them as pawns and punch lines. It only serves to continue the racial divide in this country.
This would be nice. It is Canadian but the Canadian mint is very well respected. They are only making 1500 of them which makes them very rare and the chance of selling out pretty quick:
I've got 8 grand kids so I'm always on the lookout for cool things for them.
