Use it to teach your kids how to carry concealed at a young age. By the time they're old enough to carry a real gun, they'll already be experts.

And the best part... no permit required.

Nerf is deffinatly starting to make alot more "realistic" stuff, in the last few years they've brought out a mag fed sniper rifle (with scope) a beltfed full auto (with a tripod) and a drum fed.

just mexican carry, not like it's going to hurt anything if you have a negligent discharge

My roomie mods nerf guns as a hobby.

Of course they're not good for anything practical, but you still do NOT want to be hit by one of those things that've had enough work.

Hey, I love my real guns, but you can't use those in the house.

    It's a single-shot.

    One foam dart, one kill.

i used to mod them a bit also..

you can play with the darts to get them to fly farther and hit harder, along with improving accuracy a bit,

on some of them you could also modify the gun itself for a bit more power, although they nevr lasted as long once they got monkied with

I found some real nice old school metal cap guns at Tweetsie Railroad last year with my kids. It's just outside Boone, NC. They were heavy and without plastic - but not cheap. I have had a blast with them!

I remember having a 1911 cap gun in the mid 90's. Any idea on where I can get one for my nephew? It was all silver coloured pot metal and made in tennessee I believe.
