    OK,

Last week I was setting in the house watching TV when all of a sudden, WHAM, something hit the house. I went out front and while looking around, I heard one of my other neighbors call out, "They went up the street." I walked around the house and there go two boys from up the street. One of them is carrying an aluminum ball bat and a bag.

My other neighbor came over and walked with me as we followed them up the street. He told me he saw them hit the ball, which then hit my house. I called to the boys and asked them to come back and talk to us. We were very nice and explained the dangers and cost of such behavior. The were accepting of the admonishment but didn't apologize in anyway. I considered the matter settled until the next day.

That afternoon after coming home, I let the dogs out for a run and saw several yellow golf balls in the yard that weren't there in morning. There were no witnesses to the new "run by golfballing" so I waited on the wife to get home to get some level headed advice on how to handle the situation. We decided to drop it and wait and see.

Today I get home and there are more golf balls in the yard. What is the best way to approach these people and resolve this situation. I don't want to screw this up cause it's the neighborhood and this has been a great place to live. How would you handle this, legally?

Call in sick from work tomorrow.
Make a ghillie suit from local/native foliage.
Dig your Crossman pellet rifle out of the basement.
Load the pellet rifle with wadcutters and pump ~8 times.
Find a suitable sniping position in the shadows, under a bush and in an obscure area.
As your home is assaulted, calmly acquire targets (ass cheeks) and slowly and firmly depress the trigger.
Repeat as necessary until the behavior ceases.

Just make sure no one finds the bodies when you are done with them.

Go talk to their parents, first of all.

If that doesn't work, get video of it happening and call the cops. Vandalism is a crime. If you feel like being nice, show the video to the parents and tell them if it happens again the cops will be getting involved.

Do what you need to but start the paper trail with the cops first. Long story but I had a similar situation and when they called the cops on me for "returning" the rocks and gave their address the cops already had my report and their address on file from earlier in the day. It saved my butt and that kid never threw rocks at my house and dog ever again.

That beats my home made super wrist rocket idea. I could lob them back over with my pitching wedge, but I like the way my 3 iron "presents" at that distance.

    LOL.

On the other hand, I'll wait one more time. Then I'm calling the Sheriffs in.

    Thanks for the laughs guys...
