I just picked up a Yamaha Radian for a song. 3K miles, but the carbs will have to be replaced. Anybody know of a set, or a wrecked bike?
Discontinued through Yamaha and none on Ebay.

Check in the classifieds of some of the bike magazines for salvage yards. But no telling what condition junkyard carbs will be in. Are yours not rebuildable or has somebody mutilated them?

You might also check with a Yamaha dealership to see if any other bike models, from around the same years as yours, used the same model carbs. They might need different jets swapped out.

Thanks. I'll try them. The Radian was derived from the FJ600. The engine is narrower, so FJ carbs won't work.

I realize you're in GA, but if you can't find any locally, try:

    Bob's Used Motorcycle Parts
    1325 E Elwood St
    Phoenix, AZ 85040-1255
    (602) 243-4241

I've been there many times. It is the largest motorcycle salvage yard I've ever seen. I've seen salvage dealers from other states buy and then hauling away trailers full of wrecked bikes from Bob's.
