I need to make some banners using multiple pieces of 8.5x11 paper in landscape mode. The font needs to be big, like almost as tall as the paper, say 8" tall. The programs I have available are ms word, publisher, front page, and power point.

I'm looking for a way that I can type out what the banner needs to say, and then the software automatically fits the banner to X number of pages. Then I will tape the paper together (actually it will get glued to poster paper).

I've poked around in word and can of course set the orientation to landscape, then select a font, then set the font size to the biggest available (usually 72 or so). This font is way too small.

Any help would be appreciated... maybe there is a free download of a banner software? You would think that one of those ms programs could do it though.

    Thanks
    Wayne

you may want to play around with publisher.

it should be able to do it.

oh, in word, instead of choosing a font size from the drop down list, try typing in a big number.
