OK, here is what I need. I have to write a research paper for my college English class. My topic is going to be about gun control and 2nd Amendment issues. I could use some info on authors and other persons or sources to get information on both sides is this issue. Any recommendations you have would be greatly appreciated. This is only going to be an at least, 6 page research paper and will be due at the end of the semester right before finals. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all.:wavey:

John Lott is who I was going to suggest... He's had several good books. If you're looking for "real world examples" Massad Ayoob's book "The Gravest Extreme" is good.

Susan Gratia Hupp's book "From Luby's To The Legislature: One Woman's Fight Against Gun Control" is another good one. If you're not aware of her story, she has a personal, first hand account of how gun control DOES NOT WORK.

Those are some books that came to mind as well. Good books and good reads.

I'll echo the suggestions for Jon Lott. "More Guns, Less Crime", comes to mind.

Thanks for the replies guys. I knew I could count on GT. I plan on doing some more research myself but this is a good start. When all is said and done I will let you folks know my final grade. :wavey:
