    I don't believe that Barnes is owned by ATK.

    Federal's Tactical XPB loads are a new additionS to their Law Enforcement catalog.

    ATK buys bullets from Barnes. Last I heard Randy Brooks and his family ownes Barnes. It sure is nice to see small family owned companies are still around.

    I had a couple threads about these 155gr Barnes X bullet loads in .40 within the last week. Aside from Federal's new loading (XPB) with it no one else uses the 155gr for .40 loadings, just 10mm. It was explained by some here that the OAL of the bullet itself is long for it's weight so you can't get enough powder into the case to get it moving at a sufficient velocity---note Federal's load only does 1030fps.
