I need a holster for my 686 with 4" barrel to use for IDPA, ICORE (going to try that) and maybe a steel match or two. I have been seeing mixed opinions on Bladetech. Comptac might be a possibility, as well as the Safariland Model 568 holster http://www.holsters.com/concealment/holsters/model568.asp Opinions and suggestions would be welcome.

I'm a big fan of those 568's. Very comfortable and certainly fast enough for me. ;)

I also find them a little more aesthetically pleasing than plain Kydex.

Thanks LeMat. I have not been able to look at any of these holsters except on the web, so first hand experience from someone who has used them helps a lot. The 568 does look good.

I have a Blade Tech holster with the double and single speed loader holders if you are interested in them.

Kilroy, is yours the SR and which speedloaders are your holders for? Do you have a price in mind. PM me if you need to. Thanks.
