I got this in trade, it came with my PPS (which it is not molded for), and I can't tell what it's made for. Any ideas on what this thing would fit?

Nothing inside or out for markings, or under the clip. Good suggestion with the XD, you may be onto something with that:

XD has an angled front on the trigger guard; holster trigger guard front edge looks to be straight/90 degrees.

    Similar holster in this thread:

I took the liberty of posting and asking for the manufacturer for you.

My vote is it fits a Glock 26 or 27.

    +1

BTW, I have a leather no-name holster that fits the PPS for sale cheap - If you're interested, send me a PM.

Good eye. The slide serrations and rail look like they match up perfectly to the XD.

26&27 may fit, but they don't have a front rail, so I doubt it was made/sold for that gun, but not saying it will not fit

You might have to take it to a Gunshop or GunJunkie to find out.
