I am need of help from a Pole.

I got this gift. I can figure out part of what it is (even with only knowing one or two of polish). It some some kind of alcohol. I highly suspect that because it has % written on the bottle, two small glasses, and looks like a liquor bottle.

I also figured out it was polish because is says "Polskie" on it.

    Now, what is Polskie Miody?

I google it, and WTF. I get lots of webpages in what appears to be polish

    So what is this stuff?

Never tried that brand but that type of thing can be pretty good depending on your taste.

Id try it then decide whether or not to share...Can you even get more?

There are many grades/brands. I'm not familiar with that one. It does look to be an interesting conversation piece. I'd call it a special occasion bottle myself.

No. It was a just a gift that a vendor from Poland brought. We split the bottles up.

Like others have said, it's honey wine AKA mead. I've seen that one for sale here for about £10. Not expensive but a cool bottle and I'd have bought it if I saw a set with stone 'glasses'.

IF it's honey liquere, it's very good. The brand or variety we drink is called Krupnik. We used to make Polish Coffee like an Irish coffee by mixing it with brandy, flaming it and then add coffee and whipped cream topped with more Krupnik. Before the whole ordeal starts, you dip the glasses rim in Krupnik and then sugar and then carmelize it.

so I put this on the rim of glass, add some sugar, and then take a lighter to it?

The brandy/ect seems difficult. Why not just put it into coffee straight?

We'd use a butane torch because it works instantly.

Mix 3 parts brandy to 1 part Krupnik in the glass- we'd use a stemmed cognac style glass. Swirl and hit it with the torch, it'll flame and you can carmelize the rim at the same time.

Booze and fire, what can possibly go wrong?
I'll have to give this a try if I can find any.
