I am taking care of my Elderly mother 3 days a week and am on my feet most of the time...normally not on my feet for so many hours...need advice on really comfortable boots or shoes for standing next to hospital bed for long periods of time from those of you that know.

    Thanks!

Get some gel sole inserts at Walmart or drugstores. They make standing or walking on hard surfaces much better.

I've got a pair of doc marten industrial boots (non steel toe) that are about the most comfortable thing I've ever worn.

I second the Doc Marten vote and would include the Sketchers brand knock-offs which are usually just as comfortable. Not sure about you but I prefer as wide a shoe as I can find, it makes a huge difference in day long comfort.

And sorry to hear about your mom. I know how that goes as I'm dealing the same thing basically.
