Pls advice good people of BOGS. i received my Bnew glock19 2 months ago. I'm planning to modify/ buy accessories. I went to Aquila Firearms para tumingin http://www.aquilafaa.com/Products/Firearms.htm and got offered a FSSG type selector switch copy for my glock http://www.fss-g.com/ worth P10k. Worth it kaya? 5mins lang daw install yung gadget, same din kung uninstall. With it, i can purchase a 33rnd mag for P4k yata. Feedback pls.

i don't want to have my trigger changed. i like it just the way it is. Same with the grip.

Or....bili nalang ako ng underail accessories surefire laser plus mount or tactical light w/ mount sa Final options in Makati cinema square? P6k yata glocklight and P16k and surefire laser sight.

or...night sights (trijicon) I'm not sure pero P4k yata din yun (best estimate ko lang since di ko maalala lahat eh)

pls advice. sawa na ako na all-stock glock ko :) Any recommendations? Thanks

How about spending some moolah on some pistol training
Dafinitely , better than any mods bro

This is not directed at G9x19 but to all newbies on the forum
I'm amazed how a lot of people spend money on different guns and ask about mods , pero when they hear the costs of training say- ang mahal

Of course understood and known fact na yung training. its like having a car and learning how to drive it, but that doesn't mean we can't pimp it at the same time :). I appreciate the reminder.
    Nevertheless, i still need recommendations.

Mods like night sights, match grade barrels & metal guide rod while not necessary are good to have. It enhances the gun's "shootability" and reliability. Just don't paint it neon green, install fart cannons or put wings on it.

Combined CCW/Range/House gun, but its not the only gun i have. I seem to have trusted my glock more than my previous ones :)

Thanks :) Might get the Glocklight from Final option. Cumbersome but it sure has a reasonable price than the surefire type

Anyway, i really have to think about the FSSG Fire selector switch..

It's not even FSSG but just a copy. Don't get it because you don't need it. Change the stock plastic sights and spend the rest on ammo. :)

Your Glock will never be competition-ready unless you get a set of these...

    Just kidding :)

I'd stick with a good set of night sights and some grip tape. That, and lots of range and dry fire practice.

You're okay with the Glock light and a steel set of sights (night sights aren't even necessary in my book). It wouldn't hurt too to have extra sets of replacement springs on hand. Buy magazines instead of the FSSG-like device.

Well, if you wanna go full auto and riddle some target paper full of holes in a couple of seconds with only one pull of a trigger, then go for the FSSG! :)

my suggestion is to stick with the night sights but drop the others. however, if you really want the glock light, i think atmarcella is selling his.

on my everyday carry g30, i left it with stock internals, just the sights lang ang pinalitan. on my g35, its the connector and the sights and some springs, but its still reliable.

Watch the videos on the funshoots and matches
I dont think these BOGs shooters need a selector switch
In fairness , bidang bida ka sa pyestahan/binyag/despedida whenever you bring out a full auto glock

For a self-defense gun, get a Glock and keep it as it is. No sense in modifying your Glock if you want to use it for self defense.
