I need a ultra high ride- very tight body hugging Belt holster for a GLOCK 19. I'd prefer leather - but might consider kydex. Any suggestions?

I really like my Raven Concealment for my 23. Keeps it high and tight. I wear it under a Columbia fleece jacket and get away with it fine.

Kydex seems to catch attention more and more. I know I will never switch back to leather. These are more durable, can be washed out, and sit "high and tight" like you're wanting.

I get mine from ColoradoHolster.com. Turnaround time is pretty darn quick. Usually a week or so!

In leather, the DeSantis Mini Slide would be a good choice for your criteria.

I'd recommend either JM Custom Kydex or Black Dog Concealment. Both are superb quality and will more than meet your needs.

Was it a Fobus? They are more "plastic" than Kydex. I had the same problem. I've never had a scratch from a true Kydex holster.

I have carried serious pistols for serious business for many years. The only leather gear I use is High Noon. From your requirements the Slide Guard is the holster to get. Bill

After a long time, I have found the perfect holster for me. Wright Leather Works "Marshall" Model.

    http://www.wrightleatherworks.com/collections/classic/products/marshal-owb-holster

Sits high and tight, doesn't dig into my side and is of good quality construction. It's a bit of a wait when you order one, but for me it was well worth it. I also ordered one of their Predator models at the same time, but don't find that as comfortable.

    Worth checking them out.
