    Cook up some bacon
Drain the bacon, crumble or chop up it up and set asside.
In a little bacon grease saute several jallapenos, an onion (or two), and garlic

In a pot put a LARGE can (or two regular size cans), as it is heating add cumin and the stuff you prepared earlier - after it has heated up, use a potato masher and mash the hell out of the beans. Cook and stir until it is the right consistancy.

Dump a bunch of cheese on top and serve with your favorite chips. (I like to serve sour cream and salsa along with it)

Take a medium onion and about 1-1/2 lbs of round steak, chop both to a medium-small size, and brown with the usual spices,(cumin, garlic, black pepper, etc)Mix with 2 cans of refried beans,1 can of diced green chiles, and 1 small can(yes, can)of "Salsa Casera".Heat thoroughly, then top with shredded sharp cheddar and heat again until the cheese melts.Fall in love...;f ;a ;f
