Ever want to mount your digital or film type point-and-shoot camera on a tripod for long exposures but were frustrated because you could not use a cable shutter release?

Typically, on such cameras, you have to press the shutter release with your finger because there is no way to attach a cable release.

Sure you can set the self-portrait timer if you can figure out how, and let it snap on it's own schedule.

Nor does that get you the "B" setting capability if your camera has the capability.

B&H sells a velcro cable release that allows you to use your old cable release on such cameras.

It's a little pricy for what it is ($35.95), but I will be getting one. You know what they say about those photos . . . "priceless".

That's neat. I like BH Photo too. I've had good experiences buying from them. Some newer cameras also come with battery powered remote controls kinda like a TV remote except for a lot smaller.
