Are juvenile sex crime victims' names public record?

For example, Fred is charged with indecent liberties. When searching the dockett online at the at the AOC site, the victim is listed as "juvenile Jane Doe" in the column where the charging officer is usually listed.

Did somebody drop the ball here or are the identities no long protected?

No, juvenile victims names are not public record.

There is a tag when we make a report that asks if the victim's information needs to be withheld. Thats for juveniles, sexual assault victims, and domestic violence victims. I can't imagine they would publish the juvenile's name on AOC, especially if it's a sexual assault.

Juvi info is not published, usually gender/DOB is as much info that's allowed.

They did!! I couldn't believe it when I found it.

It was even listed as a juvenile!

I thought they protected all those groups but I couldn't find out for sure.
