I hope they lose every sponsor they have and then next games are brought to you by Honest Johns Septic Service. "We suck Sh**"

No fans allowed, less revenue, games cancelled due to COVID positive players, several players opting out and the whole atmosphere is a love fest to the radical BLM agenda.

    What could possibly go wrong?

    They're having ball games??

I'm not among the demographic who might be interested in supporting the millionaire sports supporters of BLM and the rest of the protesters, so I missed it.

Since my cigar club is closed due to CA restrictions on businesses, I'm not exposed to the different big screens displaying various sports games, so I'd not know whether they were still happening.

I’ve been watching baseball and haven’t noticed any overwhelming social justice themes. Nothing like the NBA.

On opening night there was the BLM
logo painted on the field in the pitchers circles and numerous ceremonies and many players kneeling for the anthem.

They may have cooled it by now, I haven’t been watching to know either way.

I hope they lose money until they holler “calf rope” and surrender to the fans wishes and not the woke protests.

I hope the money dries up so fast that they can all go into their private sector professional fields they prepared for in college

As soon as one player drops to a knee during the National Anthem I change the channel. Haven't seen a game of anything yet and I don't care.

Well it's not just the politics that is killing so many major sports, it's the CV19 virus and no actual people in the stands. With MLB, NBA, and the NFL fans in the stands are extremely important not so much for the event itself but for the millions of fans watching on it live on TV.

Color and Ambience are very important in games, they are primitive, passionate and tribal(Cheerleaders doing modern fertility dances) and when a fan turns on the TV to watch a live sport he/she wants to see packed stadiums, crazy and passionate fans and sexy cheerleaders, and the actual game. What the leagues are pushing is empty stands, stands with virtual people, etc. This will not work, even if all political crap went magically and completely away, as long as the virus keeps fans out of the stands, there ain't gonna be any comeback, and you can take that to the bank.

Golf may be the one exception as far as major live sports. Why? Beacuse the crowds aren't really seen a whole bunch during a match on TV, you see a beautiful course and the various players. Golf matches are TV are about as far away as you can get from like a "Iron Bowl" with Alabama vs. Auburn. Even the Tiger victory awile back at the Master's wouldn't even be close to an "Iron Bowl". Golf doesn't seem near as political either, least as far as I know and it can't be just beacuse there's no Anthem playing. Just sayin'.

How do you really feel? :waving:

I have been disgusted with these "professional athletes" for years. I don't feel even the tiniest bit of sympathy for them.
