someone asked me today about one of their rifles. they described it as a 50 sharps made by navy arms/perdesoli. the barrel is marked .50 sharps. is there a way to readily tell if this is capable of 50-90, 50-100, 50-110 etc? trying to see what we can pull out of it.

thats what i saw as well and the owner stated that he called the navy arms factory and they couldnt tell hi anything about it as they have moved around a bit and didnt have too many records, or something to that effect.

is there a way to measure the chamber with calipers? maybe there is a shoulder inside to measure and get a maximum cartridge length? or something similar?
