I’ve got two dogs one is a 1.5 year old Blue Heeler mix and the other one is a 7 year old Beagle. The problem I’m having is the Heeler has developed a nasty habit of eat in the beagles poo. They both eat the same food. What can I do to there food so the heeler will quit doing this?

    Thanks for the help

First of all, have you asked your vet?

What food are you feeding them? If it isn't a high quality food, then it could be a nutritional issue.

It the food is ok, you can try a little meat tenderizer sprinkled on their food. That will make the stool taste bad.

Most of all you need to watch them as much as possible and try and correct the behavior. It's not a great idea to leave the dogs alone outside for extended periods of time anyway. If you have problems with leaving them in the house then you may have deeper behavioral issues to worry about.
