Name a food that's always better the 2nd day

    I can think of a bunch that are better as they age past the first day:
    Pasta Salad, Potato Salad, dressing, & chili.

    Braised meats like short-ribs, Osso Buco, and lamb shanks are better the next day.

    Chili, fried chicken (if done correctly), some pizza, three bean salad, black-eyed peas, apple pie, Thanksgiving turkey and cobbler.

    potatoes.

    there's a small breakfast/lunch grill near my house in moon lake estates. the cook boils her potatoes the day before and uses them in her home fries the next morning. man, do they taste great! very potato-y.
