So I have a Smith Shield that I just got a N82 holster for, and I really like it, but I noticed today that the sight channel is scratched up pretty good towards where the gun comes out. I figure this is from the mechanism of tilting the gun in to unlock, but not sure. Of course the plastic will not scratch the metal sight, but the channel as said is scratched up. Anyone else notice this with their N82? Specifically for the shield?

Have a bunch. Never notice scratching, course the plastic stuff is a smoke color so haven't been looking. Love the holsters.

That's what I carry my Shield in everyday and I have no scratches on mine. I also don't have the factory sights on mine though so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. I have the Truglo TFO's on mine.

Perhaps the length of the TFO's makes a difference.

Anyone else?
