My Glock 23 has been retired to the safe for a while. My Sig 229 40 is such a smooth , acurate shooter that I had to make the choice to carry it full time. I love my 23 but the 229 is a cut above. Also, My 220 carry has been seeing more action then my 30

One of the guys in our gun club had a G22. After he shot my 229ST, he dumped the Glock. :)

At least the Sig did not kick the Glock out the door. :rofl:Some guns are like women and get very possessive of their carryperson.

I jump around between a few carry guns, but after every range trip, the Sigs are always in the holster. It's easy to forget how smooth they are until you're actually shooting them. I sometime consider selling my other guns for more Sigs, but so far I've been able to control myself.

I believe that in .40, the SIG is a better bet than the Glock, but then again, I'm not a huge fan of the round.

The 229 was specifically designed to take the shock and awe of the .40 and .357 SIG.

I've just purchased my first SIG, a like new P225, and I can already see where you're coming from.

By the way, I like the quote in your signature. El Dorado is my all time favorite John Wayne movie. In fact, it's in my DVD player right now because I watched it last night.

The P229 is an excellent pistol.
