I’ve always liked the classic look/design of the Beretta 84/85/92 styled pistols. I just have always HATED the slide mounted safety levers. I even bought a Taurus 92 to avoid dealing with that lever on the Berettas.... Today in my LGS I ran across the first Fatih .380 I’ve seen in the wild in my parts. I watched a couple of reviews on YouTube abs was impressed. I can say holding it in hand the Turks did good job on this one! The finish is a nitride/phosphate type, but looks clean and has no tooling marks. Mecgar is making the mags and they are two13 rounders included in the box. This will be a fun plinker to teach my female companions without them being intimidated by the recoil of my bigger bore pistols. I like the fact that’s it’s SA/DA as well. The sight picture is a “straight 8” Heinie set up. I may black out the rear later if I don’t like it. The DA trigger is a crisp ~ 7lbs it feels like. The SA IS about 4lbs. Decent reset for a hammer gun as well. It can accept the Beretta Cheetah 13 rd mags as well... That’s an extra plus.
