Some of you might have seen my thread titled talk me out of a G48 in Genral Glocking. I was being serious especially when I mentioned my compulsive purchases. Anyway, they were nice enough to talk me out of the 48....BUT into a 365xl. What are friends for I know.

Anyway, I picked it up today after a way too long stay at a Drs office. Initial thoughts were good. I like the flat trigger, night sights, forward serrations, I also like the magazine capacity of the pistol. The magazines are hard to get the last couple of rounds into without a loading tool. Especially the 15 round mag it is impossible for the 15th round without a uplula or whatever you might use.
In the box was two 12 round mags I bought the 15 round mag separate. It was $47 and some change. The pistol I offered $600 out the door and they took it.
I shot 100 rounds through it today of some cheap stuff I bought in bulk for $60 per 500 rounds.

The pistol shot perfectly with out any malfunctions except that the slide never locked back on a empty mag. I am guessing that is me and my grip. So, that is fine and I will just say it is what it is there.
Accuracy was very good. I noticed I didnt have any paper targets so I shot my rubber man after giving him a new paint job. Here is the target with 50 shots at ranges from 7 yards to 15 yards non supported. As you can see for yourself it is accurate enough for CCW and such with no problem.

I then put the other 50 rounds through it shooting my plate rack, and a few other targets I have set up. Overall, at this point I am very happy with the pistol.

Congrats on the new pistol. It really is a cool little piece. Ive got about 300 rounds through mine and found it also to feed without issue and plenty accurate. FYI CDNN has 12 rounders for the 365 for 29.99 - it just requires a baseplate change ($5) to work on the xl. The new 15 rounders I bought actually came with both baseplates, but they were $45 - go figure.

I don't really want to be starting a $#!+storm here, but if it was a Taurus or a SCCY or a KelTec (etc.), this would be proof that the gun is crap and people are idiots for buying them. But because it's a SIG, well it must be a bad grip or some such.

Anyway, hope you get that under control. It's an impressive pistol in many ways.

It isn't a uncommon thing for me with any pistol. I ride the slide release pretty hard with my thumb while firing. Plus it locks back anytime I rack the slide by hand. That plus as hard as it is to load the mags tells me that the mag spring is good. So it is probably just me. You don't seem to like the 365 and I can relate. I was in that boat myself for a long time but have to say they are growing on me. I just hope all the bugs have finally been worked out of the design.

Actually, I have nothing against the 365, except that they won't release one in .380. I'd wait in line to buy one of those.

Just dawned on me I didn't post a pic of it with the 15 round mag in case someone wanted to see it with one.

All of them I have seen has night sights. Not saying there isnis any out there without them but I think sig made them standard on the 365s.

Because I already have a G26.5 that I will never part with, but arthritis and declining grip strength (despite daily exercises) has me anticipating the day that 9mm will just be too much for me. My G48 is actually easier for me to run than the 26, but I rarely carry it because of the 5" grip height. The gun I carry most often these days is a SCCY CPX-3 .380, because it's a small, very soft shooting, easy to rack double stack. It's a good pistol and has been 100% reliable through 1300 rounds, but I sure wish Glock or SIG or S&W or Ruger would make a gun like that. The P365 would be perfect in .380, for me.

My wife has a pink gun. (She likes it and it gets her to carry and shoot so who am I to complain) Anyway I wouldn't want her shooting it at me pink or not. That might even be worse somehow lol.

    I
I see. Have you looked at the M&P 380? It is unbelievably easy to rack and fire. I think they were aiming at people with diminished grip strength and small women who can't use a semiautomatic due to grip strength. I was impressed with how easy it was to manipulate
