Thanks! I waited for 6 weeks. And that was because it was part of their quick-ship products.

No, I have not. I cannot carry anyways (California). My purpose for this is when I take a handgun course in the near future.

Or when I visit my dad in Vegas and we go shooting in the desert.

How would you describe the force needed to pull the gun out of the holster?

Hard to describe the force needed. The gun is pretty snug. Meaning if you run, you won't have to worry about your gun popping out.

What you do want is a good belt for this holster. Your typical leather belt would wear out so quickly as there is some effort (not much) pulling the gun out. Basically you don't want your belt to give or stretch when yanking the gun out.

I currently run the Ares Ranger Belt (standard 1.5) with it. Another item I highly recommend. :)

Pretty nice! Do you have a pic of the inside of the holster?

No, but it looks similar to the outside. :)

Here's a photo from doing a google search.

Difference with mine however is that I have the MD (Magpul Dynamics) cut. Basically my holster back piece doesn't come as high as the pic above.

Not sure I understand... Are you looking for thickness or overall width?

I've been using raven holsters for a while. Fantastic for OWB. For inside I still feel that cross breed holster is more comfortable.

6 weeks is quick ship? I could only imagine how long it takes to get a different holster from Raven. I really like the looks of this holster. It seems very functional.
