I hope it works out for you. I shot a g36 last weekend that was purchased by a friend of mine 3 weeks ago. We had several FTE (extract) and very erratic ejection. I thought those problems were only on the new 3rd and 4th gen. 9mm pistols. I did not expect to have the erratic ejections on a g36. Other than that it was a good shooting gun. It did however seem to have more recoil than my g30 sf which I did'nt expect.

I have a G36. Had another one but sold it (dumb).
It is my EDC. The recoil is no problem at all, even with my 230gr reloads @ close to 1000 fps.
I like my G19 also for carry, but I favor the G36.
Reliability is 100% with any commercial RN design, whether JHP, XTP, RN or whatever.

I love mine. It feeds so slick that I have to check the LCI to make sure a round chambered. it is the smoothest feeding Glock that I have. Enjoy yours.

Love my 36 also, never been a problem, 100% reliable. Only problem I have had with it is I have not touched it! It's still sitting in the FFL's safe since it was sent to him in June when I bought it and have been out of the Country! :-(

Enjoy your G36! I love mine...It's been 100%, makes BIG holes, and is a lot of fun to shoot. It's my favorite of my Glocks.
