Last year I had to sell my BU/Off Duty gun due to money problems. (lost my job) It was a Taurus M85 stainless that I had carried for almost 19 years. Well after saving and coming into some money I purchased a new Glock 36 to take it's place. This is after I paid off some bills though.

Gun, 3 mags, and holster out the door for $622.00. Night sights included.:pepper:

Congrats on your new piece. You'll have to give an update once you take it to the range!

I think you have chosen an excellent gun. Mine is accurate, reliable and conceals very well no matter what I am wearing.

The G36 is a great little 45. People either love them or hate them.
people either have no problems with them or have problems with them.
That will be the deciding factor.
I have over 7500 rounds through mine without a malfunction. All kinds of brands and types of ammo.
Learn to shoot the 36 with your little finger curled under the magazine and everything should be fine.

Or just get a Pearce +0 mag extension and call it a day. That way you won't get the dreaded pinky bite.

Congrats, the 36 is a fine gun.

+1, I had the pinky bite and it was annoying but the Pearce +0 extensions fixed that.

I don't know, I have had my 36 for 7.5 years and have not had to buy any lately. I just looked at Midway, Top Gun and CDNN and didn't see any.

Very nice gun. I'm actually considering one for CC, but have yet to rent one at the local range.
