So after giving it a lot of thought I decided on the G27 for my every day carry gun. I live in florida and need something easy to conceal in the warmer months.

The things that helped me decide on the 27 is the fact that ammo is so plentiful and reasonably priced near me. I also like that I can swap out the barrel if i want/need to practice with 9mm.

Congrats, I too have been considering a G27 for the same reason but now that I just got a G29 SF that might become my carry piece.

Ahhh yes, a man after my own heart. A set of night sights, GAP base plate, and a M-Tac holster and your good to go.

    That's what I carry
    Where? Broward county just sucks.
Try the GAP plates on the mags.

Congrats on the G27 from a fellow owner! They're great little pistols, and I agree with the sentiment on .40 being easier to find.

    Thanks for the compliments.

Just at my local Wally World alone I seen WWB, Remington, and Federal target loads and some Winchester JHP. My local range also had a good selection.

I have a Don Hume IWB for my Sig that I am pretty fond so I may just get another. I have heard a lot of good things about the MTac though and have wanted to try one so I am up in the air about the holster. I will decide in the next few days.

How are you going to carry it? If you are looking for a good, but inexpensive, IWB holster take a look at Galco's Stow-N-Go. I love the ones I have.

    Congrats!
The G27 is my EDC. I use the GAP mag floorplates and a comp-tac MTAC holster. Thumbs up for all three.

What is the difference between the GAP and stock G27 baseplates? :dunno:

The gap baseplates refer to an aftermarket manufacturer of baseplates. I think it is gap enterprises. I have them on my 27, they are great.

Congrats! I love my G27. Seems so many people lately are getting G27s, I'm glad I got mine before they were all gone!

I Suggest The Clip Draw if you dont carry one in the pipe... Especially in Flordia a holster will get hot and uncomfortable...

I just got a Kel Tec To compliment my G26 for super hot, gym shorts, pocket carry...

I wish i woulda went with a 27 instead of 26 and just bought a conversion barrel...

Congrats on the purchase... now buy a bunchhh of stuff for it haha

I don't feel comfortable with clip draw for any of my guns because I do carry +1. I have an LCP for those RARE times that even the G27 is a bit too big.

I carry a G27 every day in a Crossbreed Supertuck. I installed the GAP plates, but I found the extension dug into my side and was irritating. So, I went back to the stock plate for the magazine in the pistol as I carry it. And, I left the GAP plate in my extra magazine carried in a Desantis magazine holster in my weak side front pocket. The GAP plate makes it a lot easier to pull out leaving the mag holster behind.

Other mods to my G27 are the Agrip and XS 24/7 night sights.
