....the good news is it fired another 200+ rounds today without a single malfunction. I shot 100 rounds of Winchester 124gr FMJ, 70 rounds of Hornady 115gr JHP and 50 rounds of Hornady 135gr JHP. So that's just over 500 rounds without fail. The bad news is the same issue as the other day, the slide stop spring is popping out so I can't get the slide off without using a flat piece of metal to hold it down.

It is hard to see but if looking straight on, the right frame has a slight bulge on the left side, whether the wire is sticking out or not, which I think allows the end of the spring to keep coming out. Even when I tuck in back in, the bulge is there so it needs to go back to CZ. Luckily for me, I have two of them :)

That must be very frustrating. I've owned an FDE P10c and now own a black P10c. Neither one has ever had a problem in a little over a thousand rounds.

I hope it all gets sorted out quickly for ya!

Luckily I have two as well and my first has had no issues. What is even more frustrating is this one hasn't had an issue with any ammo but I can't get the slide off properly and who knows where that bulge could lead. Yeah, CZ needs to fix it.

It is called a coil pin or spiral pin.

Was just trying to teach you something, but it appears you already know everything.

And.......I was just wondering if the problem was created by your ham-handed removal of the pin and/or improper reassembly. You really should not be "working" on your firearms if you do not possess the skills nor proper tools to do so.

Last person I need to be taught a lesson by is some ****** on the net. I have fixed plenty of my guns and who said I physically removed removed the pin? Again, that has nothing to do with my problem. If you don't like my wording, how I present my issue, move along. I didn't ask for your advice and I know enough that I don't need your information.

Will you have to also send CZ your nice tungsten slide?

Seriously folks? Is this the future of GT?

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program. Bunk, let us know the outcome. Hope they get it worked out for you quickly.

New machinery, new employees, and a new weapon design = all the elements needed for a mass produced gun to have issues. I really like CZ but the problem with mine is pretty inexcusable. I had planned on waiting longer before purchasing one but my LGS gave me a really good price on one so I took it. I am confident CZ will correct any issues with the gun. Actually, of all the CZ pistols and rifles I own this is the first time I have ever needed CZ warranty repairs.

    And everyone just looooovvveeesss that!

Bunk, you have a good attitude about sending the gun back. [Having a spare gun helps]. If you can keep a good attitude, you've won the battle before it starts.

Again, I didn't say I did it, simply that it was took apart. BTW, the gun still shoots just fine :) I'll show respect when it is required or earned. Until then, me being up front and what appears to be angry, is me being me. You can choose to ignore me, go cry to your mother and simply go away...which is ignoring me. My being a retired naval aviator has nothing to do with this thread at all.

Yours is the worst I've read about and inexcusable for sure. I've never had a bad CZ, I've owned 7, this one being the first with a flaw. Thing is, the gun still functions but there is a bulge in the frame.

It is disappointing that the gun has to go back, especially being a gun this fun to shoot. Luckily I do have two, the other will keep me happy :)
