    well it's finally here, dead sexy but I wish it was yellow...........oh well

    It's amazing that there is no flight control equipment in the cabin or cockpit, just seats and med gear. TONS of space as all flight control inputs go throught he channel between the front windows. I'm a big helicopter guy but my 5 years of Puma time seem like thay will help working on this Eurocopter as alot of the systems are set up the same. The visibility beyond is killer.

    Here is the old workhorse that is being replaced. Plenty reliable but lots of work.

    The EC 145 looks good.
    I wouldn't mind getting some time in that bird.:)

    That EC145 looks good. An EC135 front end with a BK117 back end I suppose. We tried the EC135 as a police helicopter in 1999. Flew well and good working interior but too many technical issues so it fell off our list as too unreliable. When a deal with Bell fell through, the bosses opted for........you've guessed it, the one we specifically said don't buy;Q
