So...could you do it? Could you live aboard a boat? If I were close to retirement, or had a more flexible schedule, I'd actually try to make something like this work; either as a primary or secondary residence.

I think it would be freakin' awesome!

Fellow boaters as neighbors? I don't think it could get any better than that. :whistling:

I could hang on a boat for a while, maybe a week or so, but other than that I'm a land lover through and through. Regardless, I'm lacking 100k at the moment.....:crying:

Definitely could do it, if I were a smaller man. My shoulders will not not allow me to live in something with small confines for a shower. That being said, oh heck yes I would give it a go. I have a friend who balked at the costs of condos in Seattle so he got himself an older Grand Banks 45 footer, lived on it while fixing it up, it's crazy awesome. We cruised the lake just sipping single malts and having stogies, went out for lunch, back to the boat, it's incredible. No lawn to mow, no yard work, just maintain the boat and pimp it out.

I'd give it a shot for sure.

I'd go ahead and buy it but I probably couldn't live with myself and become an even more complete snob:whistling:

    I prefer being on land.
