Why doesn't he carry a pair of them like the rest of us?

To each their own. Would never ever dream of a 41 as a carry. Like my 19.

Good on him if he can actually EDC it.

I personally wouldn't carry that monstrosity if you paid me.

My Glock 40 with (+5 Arrendondo mag extensions) has the pocket carry role, no need to go with a smaller, reduced sight radius pistol! :)

I carry a G41 with a RDS all the time and have no problems or inconvenience with it. I have a good gun belt, and wear it with a T shirt and jeans.

I wear this CCW all over town and have never been approached about it. Carrying a large weapon successfully is all about the method and body style. I have no changes in the gun internals and have had zero issues with reliability.

My previous CCW was a FN 5.7, and before that a 4" .357 Magnum. I like large frames and they carry well for me.

Not really any harder to carry than a 5" 1911.

Just want to make a few observations.

1 The article is from 2014. I seriously doubt the author still carries that setup.

2 I wouldn't let the author change a light bulb in my house, much less modify one of my weapons.

3 Anyone attempting to carry that pistol in that holster for self-defense needs a checkup from the neck up.

Some of the things he touches on are good. He has a ton of passion but other than personal choice, I see no reason to carry the 41.

I actually do carry my 41, mostly in the colder months when I’m down at my friend’s place in the hood. It carries easily OWB, and even IWB is no big deal if I keep it at 3:00. But, the linked “custom” 41 is a bit of a kludge - and pocket carrying using an ALS rig? Lol

I had to read it just to make sure it wasn't some kind of joke. It is not. :freak:

I've never had to bathe my RSAs in Ballistol to get my Glocks to run right. Maybe I have oddball Glocks.

There has been a lot of squawk about the Gen 4 19 not cycling. The part he said about add some lube to the rsa makes a bit of sense.

Psssshaw. Amateur. It just depends on what kind of pocket you have.

I had this pocket made for me and it works great.....

Of course, now I can’t wear pants. But it’s all about dressing around your guns, AMIRITE? :)
