Has been underway since 1989. It has been very faithful throughout all sorts of trials and tribulations. For 23 years, it has been 100%. Never a jam or a misfire. Never a hot brass in my face or down my neck/back. It has been my only Glock ever, but now I have a chance to buy another one. I would like to get a .40 S&W - I have brass, bullets, and primers ready. I am trying to choose between a G22 and a G23. I want to use it in Bowling pin matches, so the G22s extra half-inch of barrel length will help in the velocity department. I am also very use to carrying my G17, so the G22 would not be much different. I should get the G22. But I have to wonder if the 4th Gen Glocks are OK. :dunno:

Well, both of my Gen4 .40's are good to go, if that helps.

I really like the new grip and larger mag release.

For you I'd recommend the 22. Most of the BTF issues I've heard about have been with 9mm not .40. I've CCWd the 22 and IMO if you CC the 17 with no issues you should be totally fine with the 22.

That said, I CCW the 23 five - six days per week. I'd much rather carry it than the 22.

Love my G22's all three of them,02,04 and 06 OD,three guns is one pair as two guns are one. If you like your G 17 you shouldn't have a single problem transitioning to the G 22.
