I had meps put on my glock 23 about a year ago and today I noticed my front sight is loose. Do I need a special tool to tighten it and should I remove, clean and loctite before I tighten it down?

Billy-- If your sight has a small nut holding it on, then I would take it off and lock tight it with Blue Lock Tight, as you stated.
If your sight is staked on, as on my Glock brand night sights are, you will need to use a staking tool. Mine came loose after only a few hundred rounds.

Yes and yes. You need some kind of nut driver to tighten it but first I would clean it then use a drop of loctite to reinstall.
