Had to leave my G26 at work in my locker because I had to take home my service pistol for an overtime assignment.

    My G26 hasn't been alone since I got her. I hope she's ok. . .

you have it easier then I do. My Fiance is out in Downtown Minneapolis right now with my 19 Gen 4.. I did not want her to leave my house with her Unreliable Diamondback DB9 that seems to jam up every other round..

So tonight I am Glockless and have an unreliable gun in my possession..

Why didn't you take your 26 home too?

Some rule that precludes you from having both at the same time?

I leave nothing of real value at work. We had a rash of locker break ins, and this is at a Police station. I don't think any arrests were ever made.

    ditto,

And even if it were the maintenance crew they still have some shady *** people working there. You'd think that they would have some sort of restraint or fear of consequences stealing from cops.

Yep. I don't think our maintenance guys would dare..life would become very uneasy for them. But the thought of one of the guys I work with stealing from my locker is unthinkable. Plus. There is so many of us coming and going 24/7 that it would be pretty difficult.

Alas, she is home safe tonight next to her cousin the S&W BG .380 in my first floor lock box.

Last night she was safe in my locker lock box with a full mag and one in the pipe of Speer GD 124 ammo to keep away the boggie man and a Blackhawk pancake to keep her warm.

My job doesn't allow BUGs and I was traveling without my BUG out bag and didn't want to hand carry or stick her in a cargo pant pocket, to uncomfortable for me. I know I'm selfish. . .:whistling:

Thanks for all your concern and well wishes, I knew this group would be understanding:wavey:

    WTF?

    Boss: Here, carry this gun.
You: Thanks but can I carry my personal gun as a BUG?
Boss: Hell no. If this gun doesn't work then you're just gonna have to be up ***** creek. :dunno::faint:
