I've been reading so much about the H&K VP9, I decided it was time to try one. Right now it's my only striker-fired gun. I took it out one time with some very good results. Indoor shooting range at 7 yards. I would say the trigger is equal to the Sig P320. Bought it online from Bud's for $550 delivered. IMG_9626.JPG IMG_9640.JPG IMG_9642.JPG

I dont own one but have shot them and like them a lot for what they are. Beats a ppq in my book. Doesn't have nearly as much snap.

I only dry-fired a PPQ and the trigger felt sweet. I just do not care for Walther firearms for no good reason.

Love the European style Mad-Release! Shot 200 rounds of 115g Russian steel-cased Image-1.jpeg ammo with no hiccups.

Good purchase . I have 3 of them and they’re great for teaching female shooters .
The “wings” on the back of the slide really help them with racking the slide .

I’ve been intrigued by that model but have yet to get my hands on one to see how it feels.

I'm an HK fan but sold them all off except the VP9. I also took my G19 and the VP to the range and let my daughter (total newb) shoot both to get a start on shooting, she literally could not hit the target with the 19 but destroyed the target with the VP. Needless to say I think it was the adjustable grip panels in small mode that made the difference, ergonomics are second to none with the HK.

Had one in the SK version and yep, sweet shooter. And with the ability to switch out the side panels and back strap was an extremely comfortable pistol. Like a hand in the glove sorta feel. Felt the same way about the P30SK.

    Enjoy :)

Do you like it more than the g19? I've been interested in the vp9.

They're great pistols. I own USPs, but haven't yet added one to my safe.

To be honest I liked the 19 and shot it well and it was my usual carry pistol. But sold it and got another VP because my daughter confiscated my grey framed VP!! I still have a G17 and a 21 which I absolutely love. Another plus to the VP line is the P30 shares mags and quite a few parts if you like a hammer fired pistols. This is unusual for HK as almost all their line it's rare to share mags/parts

My first HK. Bought it off a gun shop in Nashville back in either spring or summer of 1985 for $600.
