My first post here. Great site! I just purchased my first semi auto pistol... a Glock 20. To say I am impressed is an understatement! I love this thing! I have shot mostly revolvers and after one shooting session I am hooked on Glock's.

Now to the Newbie questions. :) Are there any accessories that I should take a look at? This gun will be used for hd, so the first thing I am adding to it is Night Sight's. Thanks for any help or ideas you can give!

    Welcome aboard.:wavey:

Might want to check out some lasers or a light.

I would get a rail mounted light.

If you are using if for home defense, it is a great addition and it is one of the first things I added besides extra mags.

Night sights are pointless unless you can see your target. If it's going to be strictly for home defence I would get a light with lazer on in it. I've got a lazermax on mine, but I use it for CC. A good tactical light and laser would be a couple great accessories.

I recently got a G20 and also love it:supergrin:. I don't plan to use it for HD, it just seems a little much for that role. Could you imagine touching off a 10mm in a house? You would have no ear bones left:wow:.
Mine is very accurate and reliable. It would make a nice woods bumming pistol.
    Congrats on a fine pistol!!!!

My G20 and sometimes my G29 are my primary woods guns.

Thanks for the replies so far! Any suggestions on a good light/laser combo? Is this a better idea than just having a good flashlight? I am thinking it is, but thought I would ask anyway.

Also, if I do ever need to use my gun in the house (I hope not!), my hearing might be the least of my worries! :)
