Turned out pretty good. My wife, who has not had much trail mix in the past, has laid claim to it.

I think next time, I will buy the raisins as the grapes are taking forever to dry out in the dehydrator.

Giving jerky a try day after tomorrow....if those durn grapes are dry by then.

    My favorite,

    Salted cashews
    Salted almonds
    M&Ms
    Raisins
    Equal parts

    Simple but good.

Yeah, this was a combination of lightly salted mixed nuts, M&Ms, dried apples, tangerines, pineapple, some papaya, bananna chips, some Cheez It party mix, some marshmallows, and some green apple.

Next batch I am going to throw some raisins in and some sunflower seeds. I ended up throwing the grapes away cause they were never going to shrivel up and die. I'll just buy the rainins from now on.

I usually don't get lightly salted stuff cause of the old blood pressure but I am glad I did in this instance. The nuts were salted just right and didn't overpower the fruit.

Good stuff but it is almost gone. She is making me do another batch for our Christmas trip that is coming up.
