As soon as we got to my inlaws house I unloaded the bike, and took off for the dragon. We left Fl @ 2:30am, and got up to tn @ 10:15am.

So off to the dragon it was fantastic.

Here is suzi with the vrod my father in law picked up for my mother in law.

Here is what poor suzi had to haul around.

ok so that was friday. Saturday it rained and I did not feel like getting wet.

Sunday morning was beautiful, but I had to get on the road to get home.
So I got up @ the crack of dawn and attacked the foot hills parkway. No traffic, no cops, it was great!

Dont forget to go to Killboy.com and look at your pictures just for kicks and giggles. I love the dragon.....A good friend of mine just spent 3 days in the Smokeys....I plan on going back in July!

Glad to see you kept her upright!

My dad took my old TL-1000S (I sold it to him) there a few years ago. He was sort of luke warm about it. He said it definately is the twistiest road in the US. His main gripe was the fact that it was......well the twistiest road in the US. He said he just kept the TL in 2nd or 3rd and just rolled on and off the throttle the whole time. He was hoping for at least SOME straight away to let the v-twin rip in between corners and obviously there isn't. He did mention that something smaller like the Bandit 400 my brother used to have or a supermoto would be a hoot through there.

He also had a funny story of a gang of Harley riders hauling ass right into the twists not expecting them.

Don't worry about the "monkey humping a football" thing. I am every bit as big as you and hope to have an FZ6 before the end of the summer. Now imagine me hunched over on a TL-1000.

It is twisty, but there are many, many great roads getting there.

I kept it in second most of the time going through.

I cant wait to go back.

Yeah, it is that. I'd suggest checking out the Cherohala Skyway. It's in the same general area but has more high speed (relatively) sweepers and maybe a few less squids.

    Better yet, do both!
