Our four cats get in the bathroom sink. My wife taught our oldest male to drink from the faucet, so know any time we are in there he wants the faucet on. He in turn taught our oldest female this trick. She is not as facinated as he is. Our kittens love being on the counter.
Do what I did, give him a toothbrush and he will be happy.
