    I think he was just standing there looking at something. Other farm animals, I suppose.

    If I was inside the fence, he probably would have walked up to me, and wouldn't have had the same pose.

    Abbreviation for Percheron draft horse. Origins from France as war horses in the middle ages. Usually regarded as one of the more versatile heavy draft horses, used for work pulling, show driving, riding, and cross-breeding for hunter/jumpers.

    Usually black or grey, with the distinctive neck visible in the first pic of the red perch I posted (of her getting up next her foal).

    Perches are sooo beautiful. I volunteer at an equestrian rehab center up the road for nine hours or so a week, and the best is getting to help the kids harness them, and then watching them drive.

    Your missing out. You should be learning to drive.

    When someone says they are working their equine, that means that are pulling a wagon or some other type of implement with the animal.

    Thanks for the pics. They are fabulous. Tell your wife I envy her set up. It is very nice.
